innogy Innovation Hub invests in Vienna based Augmented Reality Startup

Vienna / Berlin, April 17th, 2018. The Vienna based Augmented Reality Startup INSIDER NAVIGATION has successfully completed a seed investment round. As a new investor, the innogy Innovation Hub has entered the stage. Together with an already existing angel investor, Merit Real Estate Management, the innogy Innovation Hub is investing a seven-figure sum. The new funds will be used to promote the INSIDER NAVIGATION technology globally.

INSIDER NAVIGATION supports dynamic route guidance and the improvement of production and inspection processes for blue chip clients in Europe, Asia and the USA. The Vienna based company visualizes digital information within the physical reality of buildings. INSIDER NAVIGATION was founded in 2014 by serial entrepreneur Clemens Kirner. It is the first company that offers augmented reality based indoor positioning and navigation for mobile devices without the use of special hardware. Thanks to augmented reality and efficient navigation technologies, INS offers a worldwide unique holistic solution which enables clients to easily make their venues recognizable for mobile devices and gain added value with augmented reality.

The Vienna based company offers solutions for use in B2B (factories, warehouses, construction sites) as well as in B2C environments (airports, shopping malls, museums), operates worldwide and employs 16 people.
